Also lunch on the 4th day was celebrated with the best feast at Dindigul Thalappakatti Restaurant at Leboh Ampang.
We were so much impressed with the food and the service, and the staff, that we HAD to go for another lunch here.
This time I went for a vegetarian meal, that includes veg biryani (SO GOOD!), 1 rotti (flatbread), cauliflower 65, kara kuzhambu, vengaya pachadi, kesari and a lime-mint drink. That drink was freaking good, and of course the food was mouth watering. I have not got such a tasty meal set before, not even in India (because I didn’t try anything like this, but only went for the popular average places). I ordered a rose milk too, because I love rose milk. It is very similar to the Sri Lankan sarbath.
Aaaaaaannnnnndddddd… I ordered a Jigarthanda drink too!! Because I HAD to try it. Ever since I watched the tamil film Adhavan, my brother and I wanted to try Jigarthanda, and I finally got to try it in Malaysia. This drink is amazing!
Jigarthanda is a famous drink from Madurai (a city in Tamil Nadu, India), and is made of milk, almonds, sarsaparilla root syrup, sugar and ice cream. Heavy, but yummy 😉
The name Jigarthanda means “coold body”, body cooler, and nowadays also used to descirbe a cold hearted person 😉
Even our dinner this day was delivered from the Thalappakatti Restaurant. Yes, they deliver the food too! The thambi from the restaurant was so kind. Such a cutie 😉 BTW, thambi means little brother in Tamil 😛 We got a very lovely veg kothu parotta for dinner.
Note: If you are in Kuala Lumpur, go try their food. You’ll LOVE it!!
