Hope you’re all doing good 😉
I’m going to write about my trip to Berlin, in the coming few posts – I tell you, it’s a n amazing place! I haven’t travelled the past few years actually, because I’ve been focusing so much on my work and some personal issues, that din’t give me time to travel, but I finally did. I’ve never been to Berlin, and really wanted to, as many of my friends told me about how amazing this city is. In addition, I truly agree with them.
What I did wrong: I didn’t take my Canon 750D with me – WTF! – But I unfortunately didn’t have enough space in my trolley, and I really regret this! I was therefore supposed to use my phone that resulted in many bad quality pictures. Somehow I managed to get the best out it anyway 😉 Continue reading “Berlin, day 1 & 2”
This time I tried to make some risotto with tomato and leek, without too many difficulties 😀 I love risotto but I haven’t made risotto for ages, so I therefore decided to make some today for dinner, and for my lunch tomorrow. Also made an extra serving for one of my colleagues – can’t wait to get the feedback from her 😀 Continue reading “Easy Peasy Tomato-Leek Risotto”
This delicious one pot dish has loads of protein and some yummy veggies. You might know, that I really love aubergines and tomatoes too, so I decided to make a mix with these. It is actually something I tried at a cafe long ago, and I liked it so much. So I decided to make something like that – on my own, and you now what? The dish came out very well! 😉
I actually madk a large amount of it, so that I also can have it some for my colleague W and I, for the lunch at work too 🙂

Experimenting with food is something I love to do. You get so many different tastes and very lovely dishes out of this way of cooking. Honestly, cooking was definitely not my cup of tea until I turned 22-23 years old. Really don’t know why, but I thought it was difficult and very boring to live alone, and be cooking only for myself. But later, I changed a lot, and cooking became a kind of hobby to me. Many people ask me, if I have any difficulties in being a vegetarian, as they think it’s limited how delicious food vegetarians can make. But they’re wrong! There are many ways of getting nutritious, and at the same time lovely food being a vegetarian (or vegan). Experimenting with the flavours is the way 😉
Today I tried something new with the chia pudding for breakfast; I’ve earlier shared a recipe for a simple pudding. I actually used this pudding today, but added some other healthy things into it, and made this delicious chia-oat pudding instead 😉 Continue reading “Overnight Chia-Oats Pudding”
My attempt for a healthier lifestyle has now included breakfasts too. Since 2014 I actually didn’t eat breakfast everyday, as I used to have a kind of “fasting” to keep myself away from eating too much of calories. I have had several ways of controlling myself from eating too much calories, which included an “8-hour” diet for 3 months, and afterwards a 4-months “no sugar”-period, and later a “5 day morning-fasting” period for a year. I felt this actually helped me a lot, and I didn’t gain weight. Beside these kind of diets I also went to fitness, but unfortunately I haven’t trained the past few months due to mental and physical health issues. BUT since the beginning of 2016 I decided to go another way: eat normal instead of controlling myself from not eating on specific times or specific items 😉
So why did I chose not to continue my diets?
I have 2 major reasons for this:
- I am a vegetarian (almost vegan). This means I don’t actually eat meat or fish, so almost everything I eat is actually “clean products” – I believe that clean-eating means no animal; my body is not any graveyard! 😉
- I don’t drink any kind of alcohol – so no unhealthy calories from here.
