Divan Restaurant is a Turkish restaurant, you can find in Brabrand at Holmstrupgårdvej 18.
Are you looking for a different experience that’s not expensive at all, go for Divan. Divan is actually always crowded with the local people of Brabrand visiting the place each day. You’ll definitely not get the feel of being in Denmark 😉 I think it’s a very different and charming thing 😉 Continue reading “Turkish Vegetarian in Aarhus: Divan Restaurant”
Café Sidewalk, at Åboulevarden 56-58 in Aarhus, is one of those cozy places in Aarhus, when just need some space for relaxation and enjoying the café culture of Aarhus. I tell you, they have the best vegetarian burger, I’ve tasted so far! I’ve also heard their brunch is really good 😉 Continue reading “Vegetarian Burger in Aarhus: Café Sidewalk”
One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Aarhus is Restaurant Grappa. Grappa is a very Italian restaurant with charming Italian food, located at the Aarhus stream in the city – Åboulevarden 60. The food is the modern versions of traditional Italian food. It is not a typical Italian restaurant, but still super charming and with amazing food. Aarhus Street Food, located at Ny Banegårdsgade 46, near the bus station in Aarhus, is actually a garage made into a place with several stalls selling street food from around the world. You find stalls with Danish rye bread menus, afro-carribean food, Vietnamese food, French crepes and much more. I’ve seen several vegetarian/vegan bloggers been praising this place, but I’m not very much surprised with the vegetarian/vegan selection, as there’re mostly French fries, salads and stuff like that, and a few stall offering 1 or 2 vegetarian/vegan items, which is not really good (in taste). I try to be very frank – therefore writing down this. If you are very hungry and need a cozy place, where you can sit down and eat/enjoy your food, then don’t go for the Street Food. Aarhus Street Food is a mess of a place, not cozy at all and the food is not that good compared to the price!! Aarhus is one of my favourite towns in Denmark, next to Aalborg. While Aalborg is the cozy town and is the most perfect town according to me, Aarhus is the next perfect town – but with the perfect localization – geographically 🙃
Aarhus has everything, and that’s why I love it. After completing my degrees in Odense, I immediately got a job in Aarhus, and therefore had to move. In the beginning, it all seemed like a busy hell, but as time passed, I became very happy with Aarhus. Aarhus is definitely the place I want to live in – if not Aalborg was located here 😛 Continue reading “Vegetarian in Aarhus: Restaurant Mellemrum”
