Little India, Singapore

The 4th day was mostly spent on shopping in Little India, and we were happy about this decision. I was curious to visit Little India again after 20 years, and I was a bit shocked to see how much it has changed. I remebered Little India as a nice and neat place, but this is not the reality anymore! The small streets with small shops reminds pretty much of the terrible streets of India, unfortunately. But you have to experience it 😉

We started the day with breakfast at Kith Cafe, nearby our hotel at Bencoolen St., and then took the MRT from Bencoolen to Jalan Besar, and from here we walked through Veerasamy Rd. to Serangoon Rd. It was funny how I still remember the route, though I was only 10 years old back then 😛 Continue reading “Little India, Singapore”

Tamil – Shopping and Dining in La Chapelle, Paris

La Chapelle is a small district in Paris near Gare du Nord, that is known as Littel India, because of its many indian/tamil residents, and here you find plenty of indian and tamil shops and restaurants.

McArthur Glenn Designer Outlet – Neumünster

McArthur Glenn has several Designer Outlets around in Europe, 2 of them in Germany – one in Neumünster and another one in Berlin. I have once been to the Neumünster Designer Outlet in 2016, and went to the one in Berlin in 2017. Few weeks back I went to Neumünster again to shop. In the McArthur Glenn Designer Outlets you find brands like Adidas, Nike, Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, Michael Kors, Tommy Hilfiger, Golfino and home brands like Le Creuset and Zwilling and much more, and can save up to 70% – so it’s definitely worth a visit.
