Vegan Dining in Odense: Restaurant Paprika

There are some Indian restaurants in Denmark. I have visited some of them, where Restaurant Paprika in Odense is definitely my favourite Indian restaurant I’ve visited so far. When I am in Odense, we mostly go to Paprika, because we really love the food here 😉 Also the Indian take away “Classic Indian” in Odense is very popular, but if you ask me, Paprika is much better. Also Paprika offers take away, by the way 😉

I have some pictures here from 2 of my recent visits. Go for their garlic and peshwari naan. They are sooooo good! Continue reading “Vegan Dining in Odense: Restaurant Paprika”

Raw Avacado Cocoa Ganache Cake

While I went to Aarhus Central Food Market, and recently tried the raw avacado cake from Ren & Stærk, I wanted to make something similar. I searched for recipes on raw cakes, and found a recipe on a ganache cake, that seemed easy. I just made some changes, because it was an instant move, and I didn’t prepare anything. Haha. So here is my version, and this one is vegan too 😉 Continue reading “Raw Avacado Cocoa Ganache Cake”

Oven Baked Veggie Risotto

Here is one of my favourtie and easiest recipes of vegetable risotto. This recipe is actually one I made many years ago, and shared on my former blog, so now I’m just re-sharing it 😉 Risotto is of course another popular Italian dish, and there are many varieties. Both baking it in the oven is definitely the easiest way, but I’m not sure if this is a “right way” to do it 😛 However, hope you’ll like it 🙂

Vegan in Paris – Shangri-La Hotel

Friday the 15th of June 2018, literally the second day in Paris was mostly spent with relaxation and walking around in La Défense. I also booked a table for afternoon tea at Shangri-La Hotel in Paris. Shangri-La is today a 5 star hotel and has a lounge and bar, Le Bar Botaniste that serves you finger food, quality Dilmah Ceylon Tea, juices, drinks and much more. While researching on vegetarian options in Paris, I found out that Le Bar Botaniste offers 100% vegan afternoon tea, which I really had to try. So we went for some afternoon tea at Shangri-La to enjoy a beautiful evening. Shangri-La Hotel is located at Avenue d’Iéna, close to Jardins du Trocadéro and only 20 min walk from Place de Charles de Gaulle and Arc de Triomphe d’Étoile. Pinky Nicecream

Nicecream is very popular, especially among vegetarians/vegans. It’s much healthier than ice cream, and easy to make. The best part is, that you can add any kind of flavor to the base cream. Here is the result of my attempt on making some pink nicecream – with raspberry 😉

The result came out very well, and was so beautiful, and so yummy too! We both loved it, and my bestie even ate more of it than I did! 😉 The one I made was a pink nana icecream/nicecream, and here’s the recipe: Continue reading “Pinky Nicecream”
