Veggie Bhajjies

Bhajji is a very popular type of fritter in many states in India, especially Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Odisha, Assam and West Bengal. In south it’s commonly known as “bhajji”, whereas it is known as “bhajiya” in the other states.

Nowadays you can eat bhajjies all over the country, and also in other places like Sri Lanka and Malaysia.

Bhajji is a snack food where various vegetables are dipped in a mixture of gram flour batter and deep fried. Though my family is from Sri Lanka, we love bhajjies very much 😉 Continue reading “Veggie Bhajjies”

Vegan Dining in Odense: Restaurant Paprika

There are some Indian restaurants in Denmark. I have visited some of them, where Restaurant Paprika in Odense is definitely my favourite Indian restaurant I’ve visited so far. When I am in Odense, we mostly go to Paprika, because we really love the food here 😉 Also the Indian take away “Classic Indian” in Odense is very popular, but if you ask me, Paprika is much better. Also Paprika offers take away, by the way 😉

Raw Avacado Cocoa Ganache Cake

While I went to Aarhus Central Food Market, and recently tried the raw avacado cake from Ren & Stærk, I wanted to make something similar. I searched for recipes on raw cakes, and found a recipe on a ganache cake, that seemed easy. I just made some changes, because it was an instant move, and I didn’t prepare anything. Haha.
